Let the written word silence the spoken one!!!

writing

Most of the times I feel I should have said something…but trying to anticipate how would the people around (mis)interpret my sayings, I usually decide not to!!! And paradoxically, there is always someone saying the exact thing I had thought of, and it often seems to be the right thing to say! I recon in myself and draw a conclusion: My mouth is afraid of saying something because it’s detached from my heart and mind! It feels as if it’s an entity in itself… harmful, selfish, sharp and fast. It’s a part of my body which every single other part detests…the reason: people usually identify the whole entity with what the damn tongue articulates! If it acts fast and sharp, as it usually does, that means there will always be a person offended, wounded and touched by what has been said! But…that’s not what the soul in accordance with the rest parts of my entity want to represent! Not an evil, self-centric, mindless, irrational, unemotional creation in the eyes of other creations…especially not in the eyes of the Creator!!!

So written words…come out of my heart and mind and say what the tongue has never been able to. Come out, oh you written words in the bottom of my soul, and speak for what the tongue has never willed! Don’t let the evil hegemon misuse you, and through you establish power over the weak soul crying to be heard!

In this world where the tongue has no say, and where it’s strength has no sound, let the written word clean what the tongue has made dirty; bring out whatever has been oppressed;and represent all that has been mis/underrepresented!

Oh you written word…do for me what I myself have not had the courage to! Be my ambassador of love, compassion, mercy, understanding and healthy communication!

Be…ME!!!

You know, very often written words can be misinterpreted and misunderstood as well…and then we have to explain our thoughts orally…
What is important is that one should not to be afraid to express his/her thoughts, feelings, fears…raise the voice and stand up for everything that might be a issue or a concern!
